Black-capped chickadees alert their flock of imminent danger with a distinctive “CHICK-A-DEE” alarm call.

The amount of ‘DEE’s at the end of the call communicates the size and threat of the predator. 

Remarkably, other local species (like squirrels & chipmunks) also understand, react, and benefit from the alarm call, improving the safety of the whole community.

• Unisex, not prewashed; standard sizing, shrinks a little
• Made to order, please allow 3-5 days for processing
• Designed, hand drawn and hand printed in our Madison, WI studio 🖤

• Machine wash garment inside out using cold water and mild detergent
• Tumble dry low on gentle cycle, air dry, or hang to dry
• Do not bleach
• Do not iron on decoration

Exchange & Return Policy:

• Got the wrong size? We accept exchanges if the garment has been unwashed and unworn (besides trying the shirt on). We do not accept exchanges on sweatshirts that have been well worn, stained, or have been machine washed and/or tumble dried. Email tl@tl-luke.com for more information!
