Inspired by the exhaustion of treading in rough waters and the relief of letting go, The Beauty of Drowning invites the viewer to sink deeper with the main character and ask, "What are you actually afraid of?" During storms, often it is calmer and more manageable below the waves than trying to fight the surface's chaos. What are we missing by fighting the currents? Are we providing a disservice to ourselves by panicking about the unknown?
