CLIENT: Gold Spark Design, Denver, CO

DELIVERABLES: Full color digitally illustrated asset for product label.

SCOPE: Gold Spark Design (GSD) is a graphic design company that specializes in creative packaging designs for food, beverage, and supplements, and they often commission me to do bespoke illustrations for their clients' labels. This particular client, Graveyard Garlic, commissioned us for several spice labels/SKUs. 

For this SKU, GSD's client wanted a horror movie scene reminiscent of Friday the 13th, with animal hockey masks on a butcher's table in the middle of a corn field, and wanted the sky to have the same Van Gogh-like swirls as is used in all SKUs with changing colors. GSD provided me with the label template, and I provided some sketches. 

This particular project went through many, many, many sketch, ink, and color phases until it was just right. See the progression below!
