CLIENT: Gold Spark Design, Denver, CO

DELIVERABLES: Full color digital illustration to be used for Save the Dates.

SCOPE: Gold Spark Design (GSD) is a graphic design company that specializes in creative packaging designs for food, beverage, and supplements, and they often commission me to do bespoke illustrations for their clients' labels. They also occasionally do projects for individuals, like designing Save the Dates. 

GSD commissioned me to make an illustration for their clients, Roger & Jeff, who hire GSD every year to make their annual Christmas Party card. In 2020, they requested a (Don't) Save the Date design during the 2020 pandemic, so they requested portraits of both Roger & Jeff putting Christmas decorations away in the barn that they usually host their parties. 

In 2021, they requested an updated version of the 2020 invite, this time with Roger & Jeff putting up the decorations they were originally putting away. They also requested that Jeff (on the right) have some playing cards in his pocket this time, since he's an avid card player. 

GSD provided me with photos of Roger & Jeff, and I drew the following sketch:
