CLIENT: City of Madison's Business Improvement District, Madison, WI

SCOPE: The Madison Night Market (MNM), put on by the City of Madison's Business Improvement District aka Visit Downtown Madison multiple times a year, commissioned me to design their event poster for 2020. It was going to be the first year MNM would be on State Street (previously it was on a smaller connecting street), so they wanted to have a scene that both showed the move, while also celebrating the diverse population that supports our local small business vendors. I did that by designing a crowded street with Madisonians visiting tents on State Street, with their iconic "#MNM" lightbulb sign and the State Capitol prominently displayed at the end of the block.

Unfortunately, all MNM events were cancelled that year due to the pandemic, so we held onto the design to use for the 2021 season instead! See the updated poster below, which includes some simple graphic design utilizing MNM's gold and teal brand colors.
