CLIENT: Dane Arts and Forward Madison Football Club (FMFC), Madison, WI

DELIVERABLES: B&W digital illustration and game day poster design

SCOPE: Local arts nonprofit, Dane Arts, and FMFC collaborate with Madison artists to design game day posters for every single home game. I was asked to design a poster for FMFC's match against the Richmond Kickers. FMFC's mascot is the pink flamingo, and many of the posters prior to mine leaned into the cuteness of said mascot. In contrast, I pitched designing a poster that felt more like a fantasy action comic, with the team captain pulling a flamingo-headed sword (*shink!*), the goalie holding a shield, and one of the top scorers holding the soccer ball, all while wearing their home jerseys with the State Capitol looming in the background. I wanted to both evoke that battle ready energy that I often feel while watching my favorite sport teams play, and give FMFC fans a different type of poster to add to their collection!
