CLIENT: Caroline commissioned this for Lydia 

DELIVERABLES: B&W digitally illustrated 11x14 print 

SCOPE: Lydia is an impressive young woman who has been deeply involved in Wisconsin, US, and world politics before she could even drive! Heck, she has been more active in civic policy making than most adults I know, and I worked in politics for years! Anyway, when Lydia had graduated high school in 2020 (a year for everyone, but especially our young people), Caroline wanted to gift her with a little extra encouragement before she left to study Global Studies and Political Science in college. She wanted to shout out everyone who had collaborated with and supported her while growing up in Madison. 

In the end, we see Lydia wearing an "I Voted" sticker and Memorial Union's sunburst chair earrings, and a megaphone outside of the Madison State Capitol building (as she was and still is an active protestor), while her mom, aunt, and two best friends stand behind her to emphasize they'll always have her back! In the sky is a list of friends, family, community members, organizations, and social movements that Lydia loves (and who love her back!)
